Announcement Regarding the Essay Challenge Results

The results of the Hi-Lingua Essay Challenge exam, which was held online on January 25, 2026, have been announced. We would like to share the following information regarding these results:

You can access the exam results and achievement certificates through the Hi-Lingua student panel.
The exam results were evaluated at two levels for the groups of Grades 6–7–8 and Grades 9–10–11.
The exam evaluation criteria were applied as previously announced. You can access these criteria via the link below:

A maximum of 10 tab issues were taken into account in the tab issue scoring, and a maximum of 30 points were deducted.
Medals were awarded according to the following scoring system:
- 100 – 85.00 → Gold Medal Certificate
- 84.00 – 65.00 → Silver Medal Certificate
- 64.99 – 40.00 → Bronze Medal Certificate
- 39.99 – 15.00 → Honorable Medal Certificate
- 14.00 – 0.00 → Participation Medal Certificate
A total of 6 students who ranked in the top 3 in both groups earned discounts for the Hi-Lingua Grand Final Frankfurt program.
(1st place: 75%, 2nd place: 50%, 3rd place: 25%)
Physical medals and hard copy certificates will be mailed free of charge to the 6 students who ranked in the top 3. A request email for their mailing addresses will be sent later.
All students can download their certificates, which include a verification barcode, from their student panels. Unfortunately, for students outside the top 3, physical certificates will not be sent, even if the mailing costs are covered by the recipient.
Any appeals regarding the results must be submitted within 3 business days (by February 12). If the reason for the appeal is clearly and consciously stated, the Hi-Lingua team may perform a re-check, particularly for students with a recorded exam video.

ABOUT THE GRAND FINAL FRANKFURT

All students who participated in the Essay Challenge (regardless of their medal, score, or rank) are invited to the Grand Final program.
Only the 3 students who ranked in the top 3 in the Essay Challenge have earned a Grand Final discount. Grand Final discounts are valid only for the main program taking place from April 28 to May 3. They do not apply to the optional tour covering Cologne, Amsterdam, Brussels, and Paris from May 3 to May 6.
Grand Final applications have been open since December 15, and at the moment only a few slots remain.
Top 3 students are guaranteed a reserved spot if they submit their application by February 20 at the latest. After this date, if slots are full, they may lose their eligibility for both registration and the discount.
Additionally, we would like to remind all participants that there are limited spots available.

Guidelines and Instructions for the ESSAY CHALLENGE on 25 JANUARY 2026

Exam Date: 25 January 2026 - Sunday
Availability Time: 09:00 - 18:00 (in your local time)

Trial Exams (FREE): 23-24 january 2026 (until 18:00)
To help students prepare, check technical requirements, test their device cameras and get familiar with the exam portal, trial exams will be available during these 2 days.

All exams will be held via the Hi-Lingua student panel. No extra links or emails will be sent.
Please DO NOT CLICK START EXAM BUTTON if you are not ready.
Make sure your laptop is fully charged or plugged into a power socket.
Allow access to your camera and screen sharing.
Keep all social media accounts (such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) and all other applications closed during the exam (especially the browser translation feature).
Disable auto-updates and pop-up notifications that could interrupt your exam.
Open the exam in an incognito/private browser window using your email (or Student ID) and password.

Hi-Lingua Exam Results Announcement

The results of the Semi-Final Round held on 7 December have been announced. Students can log in to their Hi-Lingua panels to download their exam result reports and certificates.

Regarding the results:

Based on these results, original medals and certificates will be sent by post to students who placed in the top 3 across all groups and languages.
In the results section of each exam report, students can find information about the medal earned and details regarding the next round.
The top 10 students from each language and grade group have qualified to participate in the Final Round (Speaking Exams), which will be held on 20–21 December 2025.
All students who received Gold, Silver, or Bronze medals have qualified to participate in the Grand Final Frankfurt, regardless of their final score.
Students who received Honorable Mention or Participation certificates may participate in the Grand Final, subject to quota availability.
Applications for the Grand Final have opened. Teachers may add their students and create groups through their own panels.
Students who wish to apply individually (student + accompanying person) may also register for the Grand Final as Individual Participants through their own panels.
Participants who wish to attend only the exams and the award ceremony may join the Grand Final by selecting the Flexy Package.

About the 20–21 December 2025 Speaking Exams:

Only the top 10 students are eligible to take the Speaking Exams.
Students with the following note included in their exam report are eligible to take this exam:
+ You are qualified for the Online Final Round (Interview) on 20-21 December 2025
Information about the Speaking Exams has been sent to these students via email.
The Speaking Exams will be conducted online via Zoom.
German and Spanish exams will take place on Saturday, 20 December, while English and French exams will be held on Sunday, 21 December.
Detailed information, including exam date, time, and Zoom links, will be sent to students by email by 18 December 2025.

SEMI-FINAL ROUND EXAMS
Exam Date: 7 December 2025 - Sunday
Availability Time: 09:00 - 18:00 (in your local time)

All exams will be held via the Hi-Lingua student panel. No extra links or emails will be sent.
Please DO NOT CLICK START EXAM BUTTON if you are not ready.
If you are using a laptop or tablet, make sure it is fully charged or plugged into a power socket.
Allow access to your camera and screen sharing.
