Medals, Certificates & Awards

A. ​​Semi-Final Round 

1. All participants will receive a certificate of participation.
2. The top 3 participants of the ​Semi-Final Round exams in each age group and language category will receive hard copy medals and certificates by mail.
   
3. Participants in each age group and language category will receive the following digital medal certificates based on their total points:

• The top 10% > ​Digital Gold Medal Certificate
• The next 10-30% > ​Digital SILVER Medal Certificate
• The next 30-60% > ​Digital BRONZE Medal Certificate
• The next 60-100% > ​Digital Certificate of PARTICIPATION

B. Final Round (Interview)

1. All participants of Final Round will receive a certificate of participation.
2. The top 3 participants of the Final Round in each age group and language category will receive hard copy medals and certificates by mail.
3. As a reward, the top 3 participants will also be able to select any of the annual memberships between the Mondly or Codementum study portals.
4. The top 3 students in each age group and language category (36 participants in total) will receive the following Hi-Lingua Grand Final Discount Awards:
   - 1st Places > 75% discount
   - 2nd Places > 50% discount
   - 3rd Places > 25% discount

Grand Final - Summer Adventure Discount Conditions

The following are the conditions for GF discount winners in online exams:

1. Grand Final Discount winner must be part of a group of at least 6 students who will compete in the Grand Final together.
2. Alternatively, the Grand Final Discount winner has the option to participate with an accompanying adult. However, the accompanying adult must pay the full participation fee of 1600 €.
3. The GF discount winner and the accompanying adult must share a room. They must pay an additional fee if they want to stay in a single room (if available).
4. These discounts cannot be transferred to another person or applied to future years.
5. These discounts are non-transferable to cash.
6. Students who are ranked in multiple categories are eligible for a discount only once, and the higher one is applied.
7. These discounts are only valid for Grand Final-Summer Adventure, not for optional trips or programs.
8. These discounts are valid until the registration deadline.
9. If a student registers and pays the deposit or remaining amount before receiving a discount, the discount rate earned will be refunded.
